The menu is small with two quesadilla options (veggie $6.99, carne $7.99) and a handful of $2.99 tacos — carne asada, pollo, al pastor, chili relleno, lengua, barbacoa, pescado, and veggies. Most of those fillings can also be put in a burrito or torta.
The Cemitas Poblanas ($7.99) seen in the picture is a Mexican sandwich from Puebla that layers avocado, chipotle, papalo pesto, and Mexican string cheese with your choice of filling. The best part might be the hot sesame roll, which is being baked by Butcher & Bee (they also do the torta's telera roll).
They'll be open for dinner tonight and tomorrow (which will have a set chef's menu) , and brunch returns on Sunday with favorites like the rosemary pancakes, sweet almond tamales with bourbon cream, and chilaquiles.
