
Donald Barickman, formerly with the group behind Magnolias/Blossom/Cypress, consulted on the menu. I haven't seen the final offerings yet, but they promise tortas, quesadillas, tacos, and burritos. The pictures on Facebook look pretty good too.
In a smart move, they've added a full bar to the lineup, and Hurley's son Morgan will be overseeing the operation. They'll have plenty of tequila and craft beer to keep Avondale well lubricated.
The restaurant serves lunch and dinner and will stay open until 2 a.m. Thursday through Saturday nights.
