Enoteca closed, Elliotborough Mini Bar coming soon

Tiny Spaces

Cutty’s isn’t the only little bar in the ’hood. Enoteca, the Italian wine bar that served as an overflow point for Trattoria Lucca, has been sold to Anna Faenza, who has lots of ideas for the intimate space on Bogard Street.

The Elliotborough Mini Bar will serve wine and beer, with a more diverse selection than Enoteca, which had an all-Italian lineup.

Faenza says she’s planning to add some food to the mix, with five or six menu items. She wants Mini Bar to become a local watering hole, the place you stop by after work or on your way out to dinner.

“We’ll have lots of small things: wine flights, beers with small glasses, tiny High Lifes," she says.

Once the evening offerings get figured out, Faenza plans to open earlier in the day and serve coffee and fresh juice.

“It’s gonna be one of those word-of-mouth places," says the excited new bar owner, who will consider hosting special events, pop-up dinners, and pretty much anything the neighborhood wants.

The updated Elliotborough Mini Bar should open within the next week or so.
