Cha Cha's Tequila Bar coming to James Island

From the folks that brought you James Island’s Smoky Oak Tap Room now comes Cha Cha’s Tequila Bar, which, according to owner Rick Agius, is going to be billed as “Charleston’s Only Mexican Sports Bar.”

With an opening date slated for the end of April, Cha Cha’s is taking over the old Buffalo South location, which is currently being renovated, and will boast a 45-seat bar, six pool tables, 20 televisions, and tasty tacos made with ingredients like pork belly and venison. They’ll serve over 100 types of tequila in addition to margaritas and other specialty drinks, and they’ve already planned to be open every Sunday morning for a Mexican-style hangover brunch.
