Sesame and Taco Spot expand

Yo Burrito, Pep n Cheese close

Yo Burrito Out, Sesame In

Sesame Burgers and Beers is expanding to Mt. Pleasant by the first of the year. Casey Glowacki’s mini-chain of local burger shops already has two locations (and many fans) in West Ashley and Park Circle. Now Mt. P is getting a chance to sink their teeth into their freshly made, cooked-to-order burgers (like the Memphis, which comes with peanut butter and bananas. Yum.). Sesame is taking over the spot once occupied by Yo Burrito at 675 Johnnie Dodds Blvd. Glowacki promises the same burgers, beer, and milkshakes that’s made the other locations so popular.

In related news, the tiny little shack on Coming Street downtown has changed hands. Pep n’ Cheese, which sold slices of — you guessed it — pepperoni and cheese pizza is gone, but the Taco Spot has moved in. Now, instead of pizza, you can get your hands on fresh fish tacos and big burritos. They’ll deliver too. The Spot is open Mon.-Sat., 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Call ahead to place your order, (843) 720-1888.
